MADE BY LAND
My work explores the land from above. In ‘Made by Land’, an ongoing series, I focus on the marks humans leave on the land. Tracks, boundaries, and patterns shaped by work and movement. Often set in Scottish landscapes, but not always, these traces raise questions about their purpose, their history, and where they might lead.

EVERYWHERE
I love to run through unfamiliar cities. Getting lost is the only way to find what you didn’t know was there. Urban landscapes form intricate, often organic patterns of paths and geometry that create a textured, vibrant terrain. Life is full of repetition; in my work, I try to break that cycle. Running to get lost aligns with my urge for spontaneity — though there’s a strange comfort in knowing that everywhere leads everywhere, eventually.
